The Tectonite is another great aggressive trail tire from American Classic that won’t break the bank! The ramped center knobs and deep shoulder lugs gives this tire a nice presence on the trail and inspires confidence when the terrain gets spicy. I would have no problem recommending it to anyone looking for a front specific trail tire.

I’ve been running mine in the front over the last 8 months in all kinds of terrain and conditions and I think this tire will work well for most trail riders. It excelled on techy rock slabs and felt great on the gnarly trails I enjoy riding. However I did find it struggled in wet conditions and in loose terrain.
Regardless, I’ve been impressed with the grip on the techy rocks, and that doesn’t come at the cost of durability. In fact, I think you will find it will perform just as good as those more expensive big brand tires. The bottom line, this tire is a lot of fun, and I think it will work great for most riders looking to shred their local trails.
