I’ve owned my Carbo’Beast for 8 years slowly modifying it and refining it to the shredder it is today. And yes, I ride this bike all year round, not just in the snow. Everything from the frame, bars, crankset and rims are full carbon making this bike fast on the climbs and a killer on the downhills. At sub 28 pounds this bike remains nimble and yet still gets rowdy on the nastiest tech.
My latest upgrade was having my local bike shop Main Line Cycles install CushCore in the rear tire. This was only possible because my rims are only 65mm wide (Editors Note: I said 50mm in the video which was incorrect). This allowed me to drop the PSI down and took a lot of the bounciness out of the ride without fear of cracking my rims.
