Hitting progressive mountain bike jump lines and ramped gaps with a great crew, needless to say the stoke was through the roof on this one!
This place is special! After a long winter layoff with no jumping, I had no idea how much I would be able to do. But when you have a crew like this, and progressive jumps to ease you into form, success is inevitable. Of course, there were definitely some things that were left on the table, but part of mountain biking is knowing your limits. Plus, it gives me something to look forward to on my next visit 😉
So what can you expect from Camp Evans? The trail head is really close to the lot so going back to the car is a breeze. One of the first sections you will come across is the patio, which is a big slab of concrete overlooking the pit. This section is full of lines from beginner to advanced, and the patio offers a great place for riders to take a break and share the stoke. My favorite part was that every trail was within a 2 mile radius making fitness a non-factor.
Every township/city needs places like this for mountain bikers to improve their skills and push their limits. I can’t wait to go back! I would highly recommend checking this place out if you are in the area.
