  1. Had a great coaching session with Sage at Mt. Penn! We planned for 2 hours but ended up going about 2.5. We worked on technical skills around some features I’d usually avoid. I consider myself an intermediate rider, and Sage pushed me just outside my comfort zone while keeping everything achievable.

He’s a super chill, high-energy guy and easy to learn from. He used video feedback and demoed all the lines for me. With his help, I was able to clear a few lines I would normally ride around.

Can’t recommend Sage enough for riders of any level. I’ll definitely be booking another session — 5/5 stars!

  2. Sage is a fantastic coach!

Our team has worked with Sage for years now and his small group sessions are quite possibly the most loved and best attended events on our team calendar year after year after year. He’s excellent at working with juniors – especially advanced riders who want to progress, go big and master tricks, and adults love him as well. In my experience as a coach and team owner it’s easier to hold an adults attention than teens and Sage does both. He inspires confidence without taking his athletes outside of their skill set and he’s great with jumps, tech, cornering, fundamentals and general stoke. Do yourself a favor: grab a group of friends and book a session today 👍 you won’t regret it.

  3. I booked a group session with Sage on 9/7/2025. My friends and I wanted to improve our jumping skills so I contacted Sage to give us some coaching on that. We started the session not being able to jump the first jumps on BoomSauce at Mount Penn. After some video guidance and proper technique we started to jump with confidence and started to clear the jumps! He has a really positive energy that inspires you to keep going and motivates everyone around him! If you need some coaching to improve your MTBing skills, Sage is the guy to contact! I highly recommend his coaching! My friends and I left that coaching session with a lot more skills than when we first arrived! Sage rocks!! Thanks for the help!!

  4. I’ve taken several clinics over the years, but my time with Sage was by far the best and most helpful. Sage is infectiously enthusiastic about what he does, and he does it well! Sage’s knowledge, support, and training helps build confidence and skill. The one-on-one with phone video footage to take home helped me identify exactly what I need to do to take my skill to the next level. I highly recommend coaching with Sage over other options.
