“A great place to challenge your MTB skills” Pine Hills, Plymouth MA – Just Ride Ep. 11

If you are an intermediate rider looking to progress your skills, or a seasoned pro looking for some unique challenges Pine Hills in Massachusetts has you covered!

Right off the lot you will be greeted with some big rock rollers and skinnies to test your grit. Of course, most of the features here have go-arounds so riders can choose their own adventure. And while there is not much climbing on the parking lot side, the trails are filled with rocks making the ride plenty difficult.

The trails on the other side of the lot, when you cross over State Rd, have a different flavor. The climbs there are much longer and quite punchy. If you are looking for some fast downhills there are a few over there you may want to check out. Word of warning there are some sandy patches that could catch you out so be careful at speed.

Our route included both sides of the mountain and ended up being 16 miles with 2300 ft of elevation. If you are interested, check out my Strava or Trailforks link below. Some of the highlights we hit include Delores, Tug of War, The Moonlight Mile, Shady Acres, The Good Part, Super D, and finally The Three Stooges.
